(Museum in Seoul) Seodaemun prison history Museum

Hi ! How's the weather there? Now in Korea it's pouring rain :)
From end of July and August we have lots of rains here! Hope all the tourist have safe trip in Korea (and don't forget sandals!)

I am salesmanager "Gaya" who is working in inbound tourism in Korea. Caused of COVID19  me and my coworks have plenty of free time (T_T)
So I ended up thinking writing blog about Korea tourist spots for foreigners. I love travelling around my country so I thought "Why shouldn't I start writing about these places and share our culture with future tourist?"

From July to August it is 'pouring' rain season so I might not go far away from my home and company (which is Seoul) But after Nov I will share amazing places in Korea !
Anyway today I want to introduce you museum which is not much knowned for tourist. (*Even to the domestic tourists)

The name of this museum is Seo-Dae-Mun prison history museum

It was used during the Japanese colonial era where Korean Freedom Activists were imprisoned and tortured. After the colonial era ended in 1945, the prison was used by Korean government until 1987. In 1992 it became the Seodaemun Prison History Hall where you can learn about those whom were imprisoned during the Japanese Colonial Period
