Seoullo7017 was built as a highway at 1970's but now renewal as a road for pedestrians in 2017. As you can see in the name of Seoullo7017, they put the years of 19'70' and 20'17' together and calls 'Seollo 7017'. Now this road is only for pedestrians!
When I want to walk around here after work it takes only 15minutes from the city hall station or if you are taking metro Seoullo7017 is just next to the Seoul station. This place is really a great spot to take night photos of Seoul city so you will see lots of professional photographers shooting the night view. And also on the day there are many groups of families, couples, friends because there are beautiful flowers in Seoullo7017.
Can you hear piano music? Then someone is playing the piano right now! There are 4 pianos in Seoullo7017 open for all the people. Even you are not good at playing piano why not try it?
And if you visit seoul station don't here forget to visit culturestation284!! This modern building was the oldest building for Seoul station, but now it is renewed as a museum. You will see the history of GAESEONG (Seoul's past name in 1990's) city and train history of Korea.
